Make Clothes for Your Teddy Bear

Teddy bear clothing can be made with ease from t-shirt. Now, let's start this project.


1. Get a tape measure.

2. Measure your bear. Measure the body/torso width and height. 

3. Draw the t-shirt design on paper. Add enough room to sew. Cut out and pin the simple t-shirt paper pattern to the fabric of your choice.

4. Use chalk to trace the paper cut-out.

5. Repeat so you have two pieces of cut-out fabric. These will be joined together.

6. Align the two pieces together. Pin to keep the pieces in place as you sew.

7. Load the thread you want, either in a sewing machine or needle.

8. Sew the t-shirt together, inside out. Do not sew the head hole, the arm holes or the base of the t-shirt.

9. Turn the garment back to the right way.
