DIY Metal Tins

Today, I want to show you how to paint the metal tins. Hope you will enjoy this little project.


Supplies:

·mental tin
·spray paint
·sandpaper and steel-wool
·Newspaper
·a well ventilated area
·clothing that you don't mind possibly getting paint on
·dust mask or respirator
·gloves

Directions:

1. Remove the coatings from the tin. In order to remove it completely, you can use the sandpaper and steel wool in the process.

2. Choose a color and paint type. Make sure that your paint will adhere to metal.
3. Wipe the tin down with a damp cloth. Handle the tin with the gloves. Make sure the tin is dry.

4. Put the tin on the newspaper in a well ventilated area, then paint it.

5. Let the tin dry. If necessary, you can paint a few coat on the tin. Finished! Now you have a personalized metal tin.
