DIY Back-to-School Notebook Lined Tee

I know we don't want to think about it, but it's almost time for school to start. Are you thinking about giving some special back-to-school gifts for your child? Here I want to share a notebook lined tee project with you. It is super easy. You can make this personalized tee for your child by yourself.


SUPPLIES:

* T-shirt
* Masking tape
* Fabric paint in red and blue/turquoise
* Foam Brush

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Start tearing off pieces of tape and lining them horizontally across the tee with only a small space in between (that's the part you'll be painting). Continue down the whole lengthof the tee. At the edge, add another piece of tape horizontally where you want the paint to stop.

2. Slide a piece of cardboard in between the layers of the tee and start painting blue into those 'cracks' between the tape lines. Let it dry for at least 30 minutes.

3. After it drys completely, tear off the masking tape carefully.

4. Add another two lines of tape vertically a few inches in from the left side. Add two small pieces of horizontal tape where you want the paint to end.

5. Paint red in the space between those two lines of masking tape. Let dry at least 30 minutes before pulling the tape off.
