DIY Photo Coasters
Here I want to share a fun and inexpensive DIY photo coasters project with you.
Supplies:
– 4×4 white ceramic tiles
- 4×4 printed photos
– Mod Podge
– Small, 1-inch foam brush
– Self-adhesive felt pads
– Washi tape
Instructions:
Step 1: Apply 1 coat of Mod Podge to front of tile
Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge to the front of each tile, making sure to spread it all the way to the edges.
Step 2: Place photo on the wet Mod Podge
Place a photo on top of the wet coat of Mod Podge from step 1, and let it dry for about 5 minutes.
Step 3: Apply 3 coats of Mod Podge to back of tile
This part is a little tricky with the washi tape. When you apply your first coat of Mod Podge to the back of the coasters, it may seem like the the tape is starting to unstick from the coaster. Just wait about 5 minutes until the first coat of Mod Podge has started to dry and become tacky, and press the washi tape down with your finger. Wait about 15 minutes in between each coat of Mod Podge.
Step 4: Apply 3 coats of Mod Podge to front of tile
Apply 3 coats of Mod Podge, again waiting about 15 minutes between each coat. Apply each coat as a thin layer, making sure to wrap all the way around to the sides, and smoothing out the front. It’ll look very opaque until it dries, but rest assured that it will dry clear!
Step 5: Stick felt pads to the bottom of each coaster
The felt pads just help to make sure that the coasters don’t scratch your table. Step 6: Let sit for 3 days before using It’s normal for Mod Podge to feel tacky for several days after it dries. If you wait about 3 days, you’ll give the coasters plenty of time to seal completely & make sure no water will seep in.

DIY Beer Coasters
My elder brother just recently moved, and I was looking for the perfect house
warming gift that wouldn't break the bank, since his birthday was also just a few

So, I decided to make beer coasters- perfect for a man cave, and relatively inexpensive! Although, that is assuming you can gather the six pack holders for free in your daily life without having to buy them just for this craft- like I did.

DIY FESTIVE GLITTER STRIPE COASTERS
Today I want to share a project, DIY coasters, with you. Now, let's get started.

- Patterning Tape
- Mod Podge Sparkle Formula
- Glitter
- Paintbrush
- Paper to catch the glitter
- Mod Podge Dishwasher Safe Formula
Steps:
1. Use the patterning tape to create a pattern on the coasters.
2. Brush on the Mod Podge. Use the Sparkle formula for this part.
3. Sprinkle glitter on the Mod Podged areas. Dump the excess glitter off onto a piece of paper to put back in the jar.
4. Peel up the masking tape. You’ll want to do this right away so the Mod Podge doesn't bond to the tape and then peel up chunks of the project later once it is dry. Set the coasters aside to dry.
All done! Easy, isn't it? Make the personalized coasters by yourself right now!

DIY Personalized Coasters
Personalized coasters are perfect for any special holiday. They're cheap, practical and fun to make. You just need to pick up some plain ceramic tiles for a few cents and transform them into stylish coasters with your favorite decorative paper. You may also love that this project is 100% customizable, because you can mix & match with any paper you'd like. Personalized coasters are also perfect gift for someone special.
Here are what you need:
- 4 tiles each 4" (10 cm) square scrapbooking paper
- Scissors
- Mod Podge
- Foam brush
- Felt
- Hot glue gun
- Clear spray sealant
Here are the Instructions:
1. Cut out pieces of scrapbooking paper 3.5" across, to leave a small border around the edge.
2. Make sure the tiles are clean and dry. If they're greasy, then give them a wipe with methylated spirits or rubbing alcohol to clean them.
3. Coat the front of the tile with a thin layer of Mod Podge, then center and press a piece of scrapbooking paper to the tile. Let dry for 20 minutes.
4. Coat the top of the scrapbooking paper with a light coating of Mod Podge, brushing horizontally and then brushing vertically. Let dry for another 20 minutes.
5. Lightly coat again, sealing the top of the coaster and ensuring the photo is completely adhered to the tile.
6. Cut four small one-inch squares from the felt for each tile, and use a hot glue gun to stick one square of felt to each corner of the tile. Give the dry photo coasters a quick coat of clear spray sealant, which will completely moisture-proof the finished project.
This is how you make these personalized coasters. So easy!
