DIY PROJECT: TOTE BAG
Today I want to share a funny diy project - diy tote bag. Tote bag is always quite practical and it
is easy to make. Now let's get started.
Materials:
- White cotton canvas
- Dark brown fabric for the lining
- Dark brown fabric
- Leather strap for the handle
- 4 small rivets to connect the leather handle to the bag
- 2 large eyelets with a hole
Tools:
- Hammer
- Sewing machine
- Scissors
- Pins
- Chalk
- Measuring tape
- Iron
- Pattern template
Instructions:
1. Cut two large pieces of fabric according to the pattern.
2. Pin the small piece of dark fabric to the white canvas.
3. Sew together.
4. Fold the lining in two and stitch the side edges together.
5. Create volume. Give the bag sides by stitching the lower corners together. To do this, open the bag and place the two side seams on top of each other. You will create a triangular fold, with the two corners now forming two triangles on top of each other.
6. Mark where you want the seams with the chalk and stitch each corner.
7. Repeat these steps with the white fabric. Make sure to turn the pretty side (the one that will become the outside) inside. When the bag is finished, all seams will be invisible between the lining and the outside. That’s the point of using a lining, apart from the pretty contrast when the bag is finished.
8. Put the lining inside the outer fabric. Make sure that the good sides, the ones that will eventually be visible, are positioned against each other.
9. Stitch the edges together around the bag.
10. Now the really fun part: Pull out the lining and look for the hole you left open in one of the side seams. Through this hole you can pull the whole bag inside out until it is completely reversed and all of the seems have become invisible. Use the iron again to flatten the edges and the side seams. The sewing part is done!
11. The last step is to add the eyelets and connect the strap to the bag. Eyelets and rivets usually come with some tools to make the right holes in the fabric and to keep their form when hammering them into place. Add one eyelet to either side of the bag, in the middle of each flap.
12. Stick the leather strap through one of the eyelets and connect it with two rivets to the opposing side of the bag. Do the same with the other end of the strap.
Finished! Now you can go shopping with this personalized tote bag.

Valentine's Day Gift Ideas For Him
Girls, you may be struggling for some great Valentine's day gift ideas for your guys. You may be tempted
to make or buy something cute and sweet to your guys. However, it's not always the smartest choice.Girls
should keep in mind what your boyfriends like and what they're interested in and work from there. Don't
make or buy gifts based on your own likes, because your boyfriend probably won't appreciate it as much
as you do. Here, I just want to share some gift ideas to girls.
1.You can consider getting him a new game that fits into his favorite category or accessories that go with his favorite games. Consider new poker chips for the poker lover, a new chess set for the chess lover, a controller for the video game lover, or a joystick or steering wheel for the computer game lover.
2. For the sports fan who has a favorite team you can pick out gear. Consider the custom shirts, custom hats, custom mugs, and other items that printed with his favorite team's photo.
3. If your guy is a car lover, consider giving him something for his car. From car air fresheners to new radio systems, it's possible to spend as little or as much as you want when shopping for your boyfriend's car. DVD players, coolers, audio gear and car tool kits are just some ideas for a guy's car. For real car fans, consider purchasing a stock car driving experience, available in cities throughout the United States. Since different companies offer this service, it's important to check with the closest major city in your area to see if this is an option.
4.A homemade dinner as a Valentine's gift is also the perfect. The dinner along the same lines as a basket filled with baked goods, only this gift not only fills his stomach, but also allows the two of you to spend some time together. Put together a full meal for the two of you to enjoy on Valentine's Day with some romantic candlelight. Make an appetizer, a salad, a main course and a dessert. Pair each course with a nice wine, alcoholic or non depending on your preference. After dinner the two of you can snuggle up on the couch, enjoy a movie and eat your dessert.
Girls, no matter what the gifts you choose to give to your boyfriends, you should consider his hobbies first.
