DIY Photo Pillow Case

Instead of a frame, why not show off those memories in a photo pillow case. A personalized pillow case will display your favorite photo in a fun and comfortable way. Here's how you can make one of your own.

Things you will need:

- Tape measure
- Word processing (or graphics editing software)
- Digital photo image
- Iron-on transfer paper
- Color printer (Ink full to capacity)
- Iron
- Ironing board
- White or light colored pillowcase

Instructions:

1. Measure the area on the pillowcase where you want the photo. Write down the measurements.

2. Open your word processing program. Insert a photo into your document. Resize it, rotate it or alter it in any other way you wish.

3. Load the transfer paper into the paper tray of the printer. Make sure the proper side of the printing paper is facing down in your tray. The paper should indicate which side is the printable side.Test the image on a regular sheet of paper before using the transfer paper if you're not sure.

4. Print the iron-on image onto the transfer paper. Place the pillowcase on the ironing board and set the iron to a medium heat without steam. Iron over the picture slowly, making sure to press down firmly. After you have applied heat to the entire transfer, carefully peel the paper away from the pillowcase.
