How to Make a Paper Leprechaun Hat

Materials:

- green card stock (1-2 shades)
- craft knife
- ruler
- paper scoring tool
- 3-inch hole punch
- glue gun
- plastic headband

Instructions:

1. Print and Cut Pieces

Download and print the leprechaun hat pattern, and cut the pieces out of green card stock. After cutting out the rectangular sides, score the teeth, and fold them to the inside. Roll the sides into a cylinder shape.

2. Secure Brim

Cut the brim of the hat, and slightly roll up the long sides using a pencil. Fold the teeth up, and dry fit the brim to the cylinder piece to ensure a good fit. Once you get your desired shape, apply hot glue to brim edges and attach to the cylinder piece.

3. Attach Top of Hat

Use a 3-inch hole punch to cut out the top of the hat, and attach on the opposite end of the brim with hot glue.

4. Add Finishing Touches

Attach a wide black ribbon and square-shaped gold paper with hot glue to make the band and buckle, and add any other decorative touches. Attach the finished hat to a plain headband with hot glue.
